Meet the Class of 2022

We are so excited to welcome the Class of 2022 of the Journey to Esquire® Scholarship & Leadership Program. This year we have a great group of scholars, participants, interns, and board members.

Thanks to Our Sponsors!
We'd also like to thank our sponsors who make our cash scholarships possible, including but not limited to Butler Weihmuller, Katz, Craig, St. Peter Bar Association, Clearwater Bar Association, Twelve:Two Training, LLC, Felicienne Pierre,  and our in-kind sponsors and supporters.

The Journey to Esquire® IDEALS.
We look forward to the upcoming article is this blog exploring our IDEALS-inclusion, equity, diversity, equity, access and leadership. We define these IDEALS the following ways:
  • Inclusion-the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those who have physical or mental disabilities and members of other minority groups; the practice of ensuring that people feel a sense of belonging in the workplace.
  • Diversity-the practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc.
  • Equity-the quality of being fair and impartial; equity is the process of ensuring that processes and programs are impartial, fair and provide equal possible outcomes for every individual.
  • Access- the right to obtain or make use of or take advantage of something (as services or membership).
  • Leadership- the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal.
  • Service- giving back to the community at large including, but not limited to, pro bono work.
Stay tuned for more to come in the next blog post as go deeper into these ideals and how we help create lawyers who lead, mentor, and inspire one student at a time!
