DAP will have its first bar preparation seminar on March 9, 2019. The seminar will be led by Tishia Dunham, President of Agape Bar Preparation Services, Inc. and former Stetson College of Law professor. It will have numerous seats available to students attending Stetson University College of Law, WMU Cooley Law School-Tampa Bay campus and other Florida law schools who are interested in working in Tampa Bay upon graduation. Priority will be given to third year students and second time test takers. Stay tuned for more details!

The Young Lawyers Division of the Federal Bar Association’s Tampa Bay Chapter has invited DAP scholars to all of its events. Thank you FBA Tampa Bay YLD and specifically Joanne Grages-Burnett who has been extraordinarily supportive of DAP.
The St. Petersburg Bar Association has agreed to sponsor a $1,500 DAP scholarship during the 2018-2019 pilot program. It has also agreed to give access to DAP scholars to its events throughout the year, and circulate DAP announcements to its membership.

The Bench Bar Fund for the U.S. District Courts for the Middle District of Florida awards grant to the Diversity Access Pipeline to present writing workshop and scholarship to promote diverse law students to apply and compete for federal clerkships in the Middle District.
The Florida Bar Diversity and Inclusion Committee awarded the George Edgecomb Bar Association with a Voluntary Bar Association Diversity Grant to implement the pilot program with Diversity Access Pipeline.
