Introducing the Classroom to Courtroom Career Closet
Donate to Dress the Dream.
Outfitting Future Legal Leaders, One Power Suit at a Time
Every courtroom champion needs armor. Help us provide professional attire to young women transitioning from the classroom to the courtroom — law students, new attorneys, and scholars who are ready to show up and stand tall, but may not have the means to dress the part.
Because confidence isn’t just about knowledge — it’s about presentation.
From suits to shoes, handbags to hijabs — we provide it all.
But your dollars keep the racks full and the mission thriving.
What is the Classroom to Courtroom Career Closet?
The Classroom to Courtroom Career Closet is a community-powered initiative by Journey to Esquire®️ that provides gently used and new professional clothing to:
First-generation college & law students
Students entering legal internships, clerkships, and courtrooms
Bar takers and new lawyers preparing for interviews and jobs
High school and pre-law students exploring legal careers
We accept clothing donations, but we need financial support to expand, organize, and sustain the program.
Why Your Donation Matters
Legal careers don’t wait for payday.
Too many promising future lawyers skip opportunities, interviews, or networking events because they don’t have access to professional clothing that meets courtroom expectations.
By donating to the Career Closet, you:
Help young women show up professionally and confidently
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal field
Promote economic empowerment and self-sufficiency
Provide tangible support for DEI-focused nonprofit programs
Your tax-deductible gift keeps our boutique stocked, our outreach growing, and our young professionals glowing.
